New York City is a city that lives on the water. As the summer begins, New York City opens a fresh line of East River ferries connecting Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan, and subway delays are more common, ferries are becoming a more viable option by the day.

This guide shows all of the ferry stops and where they go. We’ll update our guide as more ferries are launched, schedules and routes change, and we find more to place on our list.

Also, once you’ve found a ferry or are waiting, be sure to check our Main Map to see what kind of attractions, places to eat, or other wonders are nearby.
